Participative forestation is one of the most significant volunteer activities for the conservation and sustainability of the environment in highland Andean communities. Being the lack of this, one of the main problems in the province of Cusco.

The action could be done in or outside the city of Cusco, according to the choice the school wants to experience:

• In the city of Cusco, giving support to the forestation project of the Regional Government. In this project native trees will be planted in the surroundings of the city together with the members of nearby communities.
• In a school in the town of Huambutio that is located 60 minutes from the city. This school gives education to low-income children from 3 different nearby communities, counting with the participation of children, teachers and parents. The forestation will be carried out with species of fruit and native trees in the perimeter of the recreational area of the school.

Currently, Peruvian cuisine competes with the best in the world, being an engine of local economy. But mainly, it preserves the traditions and customs since it is one of the main cultural expressions of a social group.

Immersive Cooking Classes

A completely lively experience is proposed. Beginning with an introduction to the history of Peruvian cuisine in our iconic and traditional local market. Then, we continue with the practical classes using ingredients that are part of our culture. Finally, tasting a delicious dish acknowledged all over the world.

The city of Cusco carries inside its streets a millenarian tradition that originates in the Inka ritual honoring nature, transforming with the passing of time in little ceramic little bulls and horses that inhabit in couples on the roofs of the city in a sample of our living Andean culture. A group of artists and artisans got together honoring this ancient cult, and invite us through the development of collective artistic creation.

ART TRAIL CUSCO

It is a collective creation that offers an experience told through the hands of the Cusquenian artists and artisans honoring the history of the cult for nature in the ancient cultures. It is hidden behind the little bulls and horses of Pucara placed on the roofs of the city. Art Trail is based on the two workshops realized by the renowned artisan awarded by UNESCO, Julio Gutierrez Samanez and the collective of contemporary artists, Totemiq. Both workshops are based on revaluing and rescuing the traditional techniques of artistic production and the encounter between traditional and contemporary Cusquenian art. At the end, participants will take home 2 unique pieces of great artistic value.
